Tyrrell Racing Organization was born in 1958 running F3 cars for some British drivers including Ken Tyrrell himself. In the sixties TRO played in F2 league with French Matra cars before moving to F1 in 1968. In 1966-67 seasons Formula 2 cars were entered in some F1 World Championship races in their own separate class. Tyrrell’s Marta MS5 cars were among these F2 entries. The model represents Jacky Ickx’s F2 car from 1967 German GP.
