F92A was one of the less successful Ferrari Formula One cars. In 1992 the extreme of Ferrari’s decline coincided with the total dominance of Williams FW14B and Nigel Mansell. F92A constructed by Jean-Claude Migeot and powered by 3.5-litres V12 engine only achieved 2 podiums, both by efforts of Jean Alesi. His teammate Ivan Capelli recruited from Leyton House as fresh Italian blood was as uncompetitive as his car and had just 3 points scored at the end of the season.
