Ferrari 512 was a Formula One car built in 1965 and powered by flat-12 engine designed by Mauro Forghieri and displaced 1,489.63 cc. The 512 also known as 1512 and 512 F1 used same chassis as V6-powered 158, built in 1964. The 512 model replaced 158 at the mid-season-1965. Car progress was rather modest. Leading Ferrari factory driver John Surtees finished 3 at British Grand Prix in Brands Hatch on first appearance of 512 F1 in Grand Prix, and it remains the best result of the this model.
