The 020B was the version of 1991’ 020, updated for the 1992 season. The car was designed by Harvey Postlethwaite and George Ryton. The major change for the 1992 was the replacement of Honda RA101-E V10 engine with Ilmor LH10 V10 which ranked at 680 bhp. Tyrrell’s lineup for the season was Andrea de Cesaris and Olivier Grouillard. Experienced de Cesaris outperformed his French teammate being the only Tyrrell’s point scorer in 1992. Andrea’s best result was 4th place at Japanese Grand Prix, and he was ranked 9th in the final Driver’s standings of the 1992 Championship.
