1994 Ligier JS39 Bernard

The JS39 was used by Ligier team during 1993 and 1994 seasons. The car was designed by team technical director Gerard Ducarouge, chief designer Paul Crooks and aerodynamicist Loic Bigois. For 1994 the car was upgraded with the minor changes to ‘B’ specification.  Olivier Panis and Eric Bernard were contracted as team drivers. For the second season Ligier continued to perform relatively well. In the German Grand Prix Panis and Bernard finished 2nd and 3rd respectively, scoring the best team result of the season.
