Turkish Grand Prix, the 7th round of the 2010 season, held at Istanbul Park Circuit, was a major milestone for Ferrari. It was 800th Grand Prix for Scuderia since the introduction of the World Drivers’ Championship in 1950. By that time the Italian team have set many records, thanks to their 15 drivers’ titles, 16 constructors’ titles, 211 wins, 632 podium finishes, 223 second-place finishes, 198 third-place finishes, 203 pole positions and 220 fastest race laps. Ferrari used the special livery in Turkey to celebrate the 800th Grand Prix. But the race itself was not a very pleasant for Scuderia. Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso were qualified only 8th and 12th, respectively, and finished the race in 7th and 8th places. For Massa the whole 2010 season went on the sidelines with no wins, just 5 podiums, and 6th position in the final drivers’ standings.
