After the debut at the British GP, Spirit Racing team changed the livery from white to blue-red and continued to use 201 or 201C with the best finish in 7th position by Stefan Johansson in the Dutch GP. The last 1983 F1 round in Europe was the European Grand Prix at Brands Hatch. Johansson qualified his car in 19th position out of 30 entries and finished the race in 14th (penultimate) place, 2 laps behind the winner.
