The F2007 designed by Aldo Costa, Nikolas Tombazis and John Iley was the Championship winning car of the 2007 season. Kimi Raikkonen won 6 Grand Prix races and finished just one point ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, both driving a McLaren. The car is also notable for its unusual livery. Ferrari was the only team to receive tobacco sponsorship for the 2007 season. The team’s long-time principal sponsor was Philip Morris International, parent company of Marlboro cigarettes. However, in order to follow the European tobacco advertising ban, a red and white “barcode” was used instead of the brand name. Ferrari used ‘Marlboro’ logos only in Bahrain, Monaco and China. In addition at the Monaco Grand Prix, Ferrari changed the color of their cars from Marlboro light red to Rosso corsa (racing) red, and kept it for the duration of the season. The model by IXO from the Ferrari Formula 1 Collection reproduces, although not very accurately, the Rossa corso colors.
