The 1994 PPG Indy Car World Series season was the 16th national championship season of American open wheel racing sanctioned by CART. Stefan Johansson moved to Indycars in 1992 after his 11-year Grand Prix career. Swede raced in CART series until 1996, spending all 5 seasons with Bettenhausen Motorsports. He never won in Indicars, as well as in F1, scoring several podium finishes. The 1994 season was his best in terms of the final position. Johansson was 11th with 57 points.
