Dick Simon racing team was presented by two cars in the 1994 PPG Indy Car World Series. Brazilian ex-Formula One driver Raul Boesel drove Duracell-sponsored Lola T94 and Japanese Hiro Matsushita competed in Panasonic-sponsored car. Boesel had a stable season which culminated in 2nd place finish in the final round of the series at Laguna Seca. Brazilian finished the championship 7th with 90 points, whereas his teammate Matsushita scored just 8 points.
