In 1994 Jimmy Vasser drove the Reynard 94I for Hayhoe Racing in his fourth IndyCar season. Vasser had an impressive start of the season finishing 4th at Surfers Paradise, 5th in Phoenix and 4th in Indianapolis 500. However in the rest of the year he recorded only one more finish in the top-10, and finished the series 15th.
