The fourth season of the FIA Formula E championship was scheduled to include 12 races, held between December 2017 and July 2017. 2017–18 was the final season that the Spark SRT 01E chassis was used. The maximum power usage during the race was increased from 170 kW to 180 kW. Ten teams contested the championship. Renault e.DAMS team cars were driven by Swiss Sebastien Buemi and French Nicolas Prost. Buemi won four podiums and finished the season in 4th place, his lowest position in the standings since Formula E began, with 125 points. Renault e.DAMS finished the season 5th in the standings, the first time they had not won the Teams’ Championship, with Buemi scoring 125 out of the team’s 133 points. The scale model by Spark is not accurate. The car #9 with Buemi in the cockpit is labeled PRO (Prost) on the air intake.
