





Anthony Joseph Foyt IV, grandson of AJ Foyt, won the 2002 Infiniti Pro Series for A.J. Foyt Enterprises team and graduated to the IndyCar Series in 2003. He became the youngest driver to start the Indianapolis 500 in 2003, when his rookie race in 2003 occurred on his 19th birthday. AJ Foyt IV continued to struggle in the IndyCar Series in 2004, finishing 18th overall in the season points, with 10th place finish at Texas Motor Speedway as his best result of the season. Foyt continued in IndyCar for two more years until his back was injured at the 2005 Indianapolis 500. Later that season he made several NASCAR Busch Series starts. After missed season of 2005, Foyt returned to IRL for two more full seasons. His last appearance was in qualifying for the 2010 Indy-500.
