Sara Fisher, who raced in IndyCar since 1999, established his Sarah Fisher Racing squad with her husband Andy O’Gara, father-in-law John O’Gara and agent Klint Briney in February 2008. She drove part-time in the No. 67 Dallara IR-05 Honda HI7R car in the 2008 season. For 2009 she received funding from American chain of variety stores Dollar General, her primary team sponsor, to enter four oval-track events in the season: Kansas, Indianapolis, Texas, Homestead-Miami, Kentucky and Chicagoland. Fisher regularly finished below top 10, with 17th place at Indy 500 and 12th-place finish at Kentucky as her season’s best result. Her final championship placing was 25th with 89 points.
