In the 1961 season Roy Salvadori raced in Reg Parnell’s Yeoman Credit Racing team as partner to John Surtees. He competed in five Grands Prix and achieved two sixth-place finishes (in British and Italian Grands Prix) with the team’s 1.5-litre Cooper T53-Climax.
