





The Lotus 95T designed by Gerard Ducarouge was built around carbon-composite monocoque with pullrod suspension. The car was powered by Renault Gordini EF4 V6 turbo engine and was driven by Elio de Angelis and Nigel Mansell. It was a competitive and good handling car. De Angelis and Mansell recorded a series of podium finishes (four by Elio and two by Nigel) and the team achieved 3rd place in the Constructors’ Championship, Lotus best since 1978. De Angelis finished the season 3rd, and Mansell 9th.
