In the 1992 European truck racing season ZiL started with 4421S model driven by Alexander Markin, works ZiL test driver. The truck in 1990 configuration was powered by 600 hp Cummins L10 diesel with mechanical Eaton gearbox. Markin regularly finished in top-10 with highest 4th place in Italian round at Santamonica, Misano, and was 5th in the final Class A championship standings. The model by AvtoBuro represents ZiL-Cummins as raced by Markin at German round or the European Truck Cup, the Truck Grand-Prix at Nurburgring.
