The brand Tekno has started in 1928 in Copenhagen, Denmark, founded by Mr. A. Siegumfeldt as a toy selling company. Around 1930s – 60s “Tekno Dansk Legetojs Industri” was one of the leading toys importers. In 1974, Tekno Denmark moved to the Netherlands under the name “Tekno Toys” and changed the company specialization to the production of model trucks. Now Tekno Collectibles is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of miniature trucks. Tekno specializes on high quality truck models of popular brands like DAF, Scania, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and MAN in 1:50 scale. Some Dakar trucks and Truck Racing models are also present in Tekno production line.
