TG184, the further evolution of TG183, was used by Toleman team during the majority 1984 season. It was the car which made the Ayrton Senna’s glory as the “Rainman” after his fantastic performance in a wet Monaco Grand Prix where Senna almost won when the race was stopped due to adverse conditions. Senna’s teammate former FIM 350cc and Formula 750 motorcycle World Champion Johnny Cecotto from Venezuela achieved 9th place in Canada as his best finish of the season.
