March 701 was the first F1 design by March Engineering.  Despite Jackie Stewart has described the car as “the most difficult F1 car I drove”, he was able to achieve the maiden victory for the constructor in its second Championship’ race at 1970 Spanish GP in Jarama. March 701 throughout 1970 season was used by many entrants, including the March works team, Ken Tyrrell Racing Organization and STP Corporation. Mario Andretti drove this car in 1970 season for STP Corporation, sharing his involvement with the team both in F1 and USAC Championships. Mario started in 5 Grand Prix that season and his only finish was 3rd place at Spanish GP in Jarama. Quartzo model represents Andretti’s 701 from this event.
