





The FW07 in the 07B specification brought 1980 drivers’ (with Alan Jones) and constructors’ titles to Williams team. Meanwhile the car in its original variant presented in 1979 (FW07) was also available for RAM and Brands Hatch Racing private teams. RAM racing formed in 1975 by Mike Ralph and John Macdonald, entered FW07 for the second half of the 1980 season with several drivers. British Rupert Keegan, British F3 Champion of 1976 and Aurora F1 Champion of 1979, was the main driver of the team. He entered for 6 Grand Prix in 1980, scoring 3 DNQ, and his best 9th position finish in USA Grand Prix at Watkins Glen.
