Scuderia Toro Rosso, Red Bull sister F1 team, was rebranded as Alpha Tauri before the 2020 season in order to promote Red Bull’s fashion brand. New car of the team named AT01 has got new indexing system, as well as new beautiful livery. The original chassis was designed at home, while the car shares Honda RA620H engine, as well as suspension, gearbox and hydraulics with Red Bull RB16. Pierre Gasly and Daniil Kvyat were retained by the team for 2020. Gasly started the season with four top-10 finishes in first seven races before celebrated his maiden F1 victory at the 2020 Italian Grand Prix. His early pit stop allowed him to pass several drivers and go up to third place. When race leader Hamilton boxed for stop-go penalty and second-place driver Stroll went wide at the Roggia chicane, Gasly inherited the lead and managed to hold it until the finish. It was second F1 win for Toro Rosso / Alpha Tauri team (first was achieved by Sebastian Vettel in 2008), and first French win since Olivier Panis’ victory at the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix.
