





The 1994 PPG Indy Car World Series season was the 16th national championship season of American open wheel racing sanctioned by CART. Italian Alessandro Zampedri moved to CART in 1994 after two seasons in F3000. Zampedri started the season with Euromotorsport, but then switched to Payton/Coyne Racing, the team founded in 1984 and owned by former driver Dale Coyne. Driving previous year Lola Alessandro finished 7th at Portland and 10th at Cleveland, and with 9 points was 25th in the final season standings.
