The 1994 PPG Indy Car World Series season was the 16th national championship season of American open wheel racing sanctioned by CART. For American legend Mario Andretti it was his last full season in motor racing. Mario started the season with 3rd place in the opening round of the 1994 CART World Series season, Australian Indycar Grand Prix at Surfers Paradise. Later that season he demonstrated his skills in other street circuits finishing 5th in Long Beach and 4th in Toronto. Ovals and road courses were less favorable for Mario, and he finished his last season as 14th in the standings.
