





Truesports, an automobile racing team founded by Jim Trueman, raced in CART since 1982. In the 1990 season the team was represented by single car – Lola T89 –Judd. Scott Pruett, rookie of the year of the 1989 season was supposed to drove the car, but in March 1990 Pruett was seriously injured in a preseason testing crash at West Palm Beach, Florida, an IMSA street course. Brazilian Raul Boesel drove as a replacement for the entire season. His best finish was 6th place at Milwaukie and Detroit, while at Indy-500 he was classified 28th. Second car for Jeoff Brabham was entered for Indy-500 only. Boesel drove the car number 8 except Indianapolis 500, where his car was #19 (and #20 was assigned to Brabham).
