Team Hahn Racing, one of the most successful truck racing stables, was created in 1997 by German Konrad Hahn who worked as team manager and racing driver along his brother Jorg. Konrad Hahn achieved a fifth rank on the overall standings in 1999 as his best result. That same year he survived a major crash unharmed when his truck crashed into a wall at 156 km/h during the race at the Circuit Zolder. He then stopped driving at the ETRC and his son Jochen Hahn took over the driver’s seat. After his first season in 2000, Jochen Hahn ranked fourth in overall standings. Between 2000 and 2010 he continuously finished the season ranking between sixth and third on the overall standings. Team Hahn Racing used Mercedes race trucks until 2007, when Mercedes decided to stop participating at the ETRC. between 2008 and 2016 the team has raced a MAN race trucks.
In 2011 Jochen Hahn and his Team Hahn Racing won his first FIA European Truck Racing Championship. In 2012 Hahn raced MAN race truck #1 acting1 as a champion. He dominated the season scoring 16 wins and has defended his title. In 2013 Johen Hahn won again, and became the third driver who had managed to win three titles in a row, after Curt Göransson (1988, 1989 and 1990: Class B title) and Heinz-Werner Lenz (1997, 1998 and 1999: Race-Trucks Class title).
Following two seasons (2014 and 2015) finishing vice champion and third, Jochen Hahn and his team once again won the European Truck Racing Championship in 2016. In 2017 Team Hahn Racing decided to switch to brand new Iveco racing trucks, and Jochen Hahn finished vice-champion once again in 2017. Two next seasons (2018 and 2019) brought him record 5th and 6th sixth European Championship title.
In the 2019 season Johen Hahn won 13 races from total 32 starts in 8 ETRC rounds. He scored 370 points and was 102 points ahead of vice-champion Antonio Albacete (MAN) and 109 point ahead of 3rd finisher Adam Lacko (Freightliner).
In 2020 the championship title was not officially awarded due to season shortening after COVID pandemic. Hahn was 3rd in the standings of 2020, and finished the season fourth in the 2021.
