Spark models is the brand name of Minimax Import & Export Co.Ltd. located in Macau. Company was founded in 2000 by Hugo Ripert, previously worked with the Vitesse, Quartzo and Ixo brands. The production is based in Southern China. Spark was the first model company to really specialize in modelling replicas in resin rather than diecast metal. Company’s production line started with Le Man 24 Hours cars with the special focus on the cars from the back of the grid. In late 2000s Spark moved to the market of F1 models and now has a wide range of high quality resin replicas from classic and modern F1 eras.
